I have all of the Roland XOX units - 101, 202, 303, 505, 525, 606, 626, 707, 727, 808, 909, and quite a few pieces of old analog kit as well - Jem, Korg, Kat, Space Echo. There's one waveform that's just amazing: a 909 type of kick that does similar bass things as the TB-303.
It's supposed to be some kind of reggae drum, triggered with pads - dooh! dooh! - but you can program and detune it to do mental, sharp kick drums and basses. The bass on that is from this hilarious box called a Pearl Syncussion that I still use most of the time for bass and that I used for all my Plug bass lines. Sorry, He used another Pearl drum module called the 'Syncussion' which has been posted on this site before.
